Your Session

Every session is planned around you

I treat one person at a time. An appointment can bring together assessment and diagnosis, hands-on manual therapy, myofascial stretching, exercise prescription and kinesiology balances — the mix is decided by what your body needs on the day.

Step 01

Listen & Ask Questions

A different outcome usually asks for a different way of working, so I begin with questions. Not only about the injury that brought you in, but about sleep, stress, digestion, old injuries, and anything else that might be feeding into it.

02
Step 02

Examine & Record

Then comes the physical examination: your posture, your strength, how far you can move and the way you move, along with any other physical signs that are relevant. I record all of it at the start, because a clear baseline is how we see what has actually changed.

03
Step 03

Balance & Plan

We agree on a goal for your recovery, and that goal steers the treatment. Muscle testing through kinesiology is one of the ways I find what is standing in the way of it, and we then work on clearing that. A session may involve hands-on body work, myofascial stretching, kinesiology, nervous system retraining and clinical pilates.

A different approach

Whoever you are, the standard of care does not change

A proper assessment, no assumptions, and a plan written for your situation rather than pulled off a shelf. Nutrition sometimes surfaces in a session too, and if it does we go through it together — though one thing I am careful to say plainly: kinesiology works with the body's energy, and is not used to diagnose deficiencies or disease.
