Medicare rebates
Medicare covers part of the cost of physiotherapy, which leaves a gap you pay yourself. You will need a current referral from your GP. I ask that the full fee be settled on the day; you then claim the rebate back from Medicare directly. The Medicare rebate for physiotherapy currently sits at $52.95*.
Once your spending has passed the Medicare Safety Net threshold, your rebate may be higher. *Subject to change without notice.
